Frequently asked questions and answers

How do I book a consultation?

You can book a consultation with an enable.me coach by filling out an enquiry form on our website or calling us on 0800 897 898. If you are an existing enable.me client, you can book an appointment through your NestEgg portal directly.

You can secure an appointment up to 2 months in advance. If you need help, our New Client team can work with you to find a time that works best for you.

I’ve filled out my enquiry form – what else do I need to do to prepare for my consultation?

If you’ve filled out an enquiry form on our website – congratulations! You’ve taken the first step towards getting control of your finances and securing your financial future. You will receive an email soon confirming your enquiry – if you don’t see it in your inbox, check your junk mail.

In this email, you’ll get a link to sign up for NestEgg where you can fill in a little more information about yourself and your financial situation. It is important you fill this out as it helps us place you with the right coach, and means you’ll get the most out of your consultation.

How long is the first session?

This is a comprehensive session and there is a lot to get through so please allow 90 minutes.

Does my partner have to come with me?

If you’re booking a consultation and your finances are combined with a partner (e.g you have shared assets, debt, bank accounts, goals etc) then yes – you are both required to attend this session as it’s a decision-making meeting.

If you’re unsure whether your situation requires your partner to attend, feel free to get in touch with our New Client Team on 0800 897 898 (opt1) to discuss.

If your finances are not combined, then your partner does not need to attend.

Are the sessions during business hours?

Yes, we are available during business hours, Monday to Friday.

You are invited to meet with us at your local enable.me office; we have locations around New Zealand. Where we don’t have a local office or you’re based overseas, we also offer consultations via video.

We do not offer home visits, evening or weekend consultations.

Is there a cost for this first session?

Yes, as this is a comprehensive and personalised session there is a cost. It’s usually $400, though we do occasionally offer promotional and corporate discounts. Our New Client team will confirm if you are eligible for a discount.

What happens after the first session?

Through the course of your consultation your coach will outline the benefits and costs to work with enable.me ongoing. We work with our clients on 12-month programmes. It’s at your discretion if you choose to do so.

What is the cost of your services?

This varies and it depends on which programme is right for you, whether you’re eligible for rebates and which payment option you choose. The costs range from approximately $3,000 – $12,000 in your first year. Most of our clients work with us on an ongoing basis, and the cost for subsequent years ranges from approximately $1,500 – $2,200.

What qualifications do enable.me coaches hold?

They all come from extensive, varied and experienced backgrounds in Business, Accounting, Banking and Financial Services.

If you have requested a consultation, all our coaches are qualified financial advisers, and all our offices are Authorised Bodies under The Financial Fitness Group NZ Limited (FSP 713811) Financial Advice Provider Licence, which was approved by the Financial Markets Authority NZ.
