Busting Out of the Debt Dungeon with Hannah McQueen and Shamubeel Eaqub  

All journeys begin with a single step. In this first episode of Where’s My Money? enable.me Founder Hannah McQueen shares her compelling advice about how Reagan can get ahead by paying off his mortgage faster. She also lends her expertise to other financial hot topics – budgeting, mortgages, investing, and making generally smart money moves. Introducing Tracy Hemingway, the Debt Free Diva who managed to side hustle her way out of more than $100K of consumer debt. She clawed her way from knocking on the door of bankruptcy to becoming a property owner within a few years. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it – and now she’s a qualified financial adviser and helps others in the same situation. My Fiscal Wake-Up Call: Insights from Tony Alexander and Hannah McQueen on Debt Management 

enable.me Founder Hannah McQueen returns to the podcast and explores her first consultation with Reagan – where Hannah gave him and his wife, Laura, a fiscal wake-up call. They tell the story of falling into a ‘financial sinkhole’, leading to Reagan and Laura almost defaulting on a mortgage payment with the bank. For only the second time in her career, Hannah jumped straight to negotiate a mortgage repayment holiday and a pause in KiwiSaver contributions to support them with making that mortgage payment. Turning Tides on Debt: Reagan’s Game Plan with Hannah McQueen and Cam McLellan  

Season 1, Episode 5 of Where’s My Money? continues by following up on Reagan and Laura’s mortgage journey. enable.me Founder Hannah McQueen returns to share a new proposition with Reagan – ‘rent vesting’, which involves buying investment properties and living in a rental. Property investment expert Cam McClellan drops by later in the episode and shares how he is setting up his four children for life by buying an investment property in a trust that is in their names. Divorcee Duncan Garner and Founder of divorce coaching company Equal Exes, Bridgette Jackson, join Reagan in this episode of Where’s My Money? to share their experiences and expertise surrounding divorce.

Finance bros on TikTok may make a mortgage sound sexy – and easy to pay off. But is it? Reagan’s guests, Mortgage and Wealth Advisers Mike Vincent and James Blair (also hosts of the Cheques and Balances podcast), and mortgage broker Jonty Horrocks, join him to share strategies to navigate mortgages in New Zealand. Mike and James say that there isn’t a simple ‘pay-off-in-6-months scheme’ – even if social media influencers make it seem that way – but there are practical things you can do with your income to make a difference.
