Almost two decades of experience in the financial industry across investments, foreign exchange, home lending and consumer banking has made Kobus a highly skilled adviser – but perhaps even more importantly, he’s driven by a desire to help.

His experience in retail banking showed him exactly how much of an impact a lack of financial knowledge was having on people’s overall wellbeing – and it wasn’t good.

Kobus is now focused on changing that, by educating and empowering clients to take the reins of their finances and guiding them through the process of creating options for their families.

Originally from Pretoria in South Africa, Kobus – a sports fanatic and CrossFit fan - now calls Gisborne home. He loves that the people are kind, the wine is good, and the weather is even better.
