Nature and Scope of Financial Advice

Our programmes include financial advice, strategies, coaching and cash-flow management and can include advice on Banking and Insurance products.

enable.me coaches can refer clients to specialist financial advisers for specific product advice such as Mortgages, Insurance, KiwiSaver, Managed Funds and Property. You may already have your own Financial Advisers who can help in specific product areas.

enable.me employs in-house specialists for Mortgages, Insurance and Property. You will be provided with a disclosure document that describes the specific nature and scope of advice each enable.me adviser can provide. enable.me is not limited to any one product provider for advice services.

We will only provide advice on products that we have the knowledge and skill to provide advice on.

Licensing Information

enable.me New Zealand operates under the Financial Advice Provider Licence of The Financial Fitness Group New Zealand Limited. The Financial Fitness Group New Zealand Limited (FSP713811) holds a licence issued by the Financial Markets Authority to provide financial advice. Each office in the enable.me group that provides Financial Advice Services is an Authorised Body under this licence, and each financial adviser operates under an Authorised Body.  Please see the individual Offices disclosure document for further information. Conflicts of Interest and Incentives

enable.me offices and advisers may receive referral fees from other product and service providers who provide advice services and financial product implementation post a referral.  Please see the Disclosure document or your adviser for further details.

Duties

enable.me, and anyone who gives financial advice on our behalf, have duties under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 relating to the way that we give advice. We are required to:

  • give priority to your interests by taking all reasonable steps to make sure our advice isn’t materially influenced by our own interests.
  • exercise care, diligence, and skill in providing you with advice.
  • meet standards of competence, knowledge and skillset by the Code of Professional Conduct for Financial Advice Services (these are designed to make sure that we have the expertise needed to provide you with advice).
